Screaming Timber Arbor Care was built from a passion for tree care, hard work, and a simple belief: homeowners deserve a tree service company they can trust.
Today, Screaming Timber serves homeowners throughout West Michigan and East Michigan. But our story started much smaller—with Mitchell Weideman and a vision to build something of his own.
Where It All Began
Mitchell began working in the tree care industry in 2017 in South Dakota. What started as a passion for working outdoors and taking on challenging tree work quickly became a vision for building a company based on hard work, safety, and trust.
When Mitchell moved to Michigan, he brought that experience and vision with him. That was the beginning of Screaming Timber Arbor Care.
Through long days, hard work, and a commitment to doing things the right way, Screaming Timber began to grow—one customer and one job at a time.
More Than a Tree Company
From the beginning, Mitchell wanted Screaming Timber to be different. The goal wasn’t simply to become a bigger tree company. It was to build a company that homeowners could call with confidence—a company that would provide honest recommendations, put safety first, respect customers’ properties, and stand behind its work.
That vision continues to guide every part of Screaming Timber today. Mitchell has continued to invest in professional equipment, experienced crews, and better ways to serve customers. His goal is to make Screaming Timber the #1 trusted tree service in West Michigan and continue building a company homeowners across Michigan can rely on.

Mitchell enjoys spending time with his family outside of work, and the values that matter at home—hard work, honesty, responsibility, and treating people with respect—are the same values that guide the company. As Screaming Timber has grown, we’ve worked hard to keep that family-business mindset. Growing Across Michigan
What began with Mitchell’s journey in South Dakota has grown into a Michigan tree service serving two regions of the state. As Screaming Timber continued to grow, Mitchell partnered with Steven Walker to expand into East Michigan.
Steven shares the same commitment to safety, honest recommendations, professionalism, and quality service.
Together, Mitchell and Steven are helping Screaming Timber bring its standards of trusted tree care to more Michigan homeowners.
Today, Screaming Timber proudly serves both West Michigan and East Michigan, with local leadership focused on providing the same level of service in each region.
